Thai and Singaporean armies engaged in annual military exercise

KRABI, 3 March 2014  Thailand and Singapore are holding their annual joint army training in order to further strengthen the good relationship both countries have towards one another. 

Thai and Singapore armies have joined once again in their annual training in order to exchange experiences in military drills and strengthen bilateral ties. The training is taking place at an Army field in Khlong Thom district, Krabi province from March 2-4.

The training was jointly opened by Maj. Gen. Reungsak Suwannak of the Royal Thai Army and his Singapore counterpart, Col. Wong Yu Hun. The aim of the exercise is to exchange knowledge in the field training covering Army manoeuvres and to learn from one another’s experience.

This year’s training consists of traditional combat practices and prevention and suppression of insurgency and violent attacks. The training will be rotating around 6 army training stations in Krabi province.
