Bangkok – Thai students who gained one bronze medal and seven certificates of honor at the 19th Asian Physics Olympiad in Hanoi, Vietnam have returned to a big welcome in the Kingdom. The students were among 188 participants from 25 countries competing in the 19th Asia Physics Olympiad.
Triam Udom Suksa Bangkok School student Yanwarut Parathipcharoenchai won a bronze medal in the competition while his schoolmates Pacharapol Leenukriat, Akkarawis Nakprasert, Thanawat Sornwanee and Kantapong Kotchum received certificates of honor.
Itipatpol Chaipattanakarn and Theeramet Kanpittaya of Mahidol Wittayanusorn School of Nakhon Pathom and Lapas Premcharoen of Kamnerdwit School Rayong also received certificates.
Yanwarut remarked that the questions posed during the Olympiad were difficult and complicated but called the experience rewarding. He promised to continue to develop his skills and to help his younger classmates.
