BANGKOK, Thailand – Market Strategist at Krungthai GLOBAL MARKETS, Poon Panitphiboon, revealed that the Thai Baht opened at 34.09 against the US dollar on December 6, strengthening from the previous day’s closing rate of 34.34. He expects the Baht to fluctuate within a range of 33.95-34.35 against the dollar, influenced by market reactions to US economic data reports.
Since Wednesday night, the Baht has gradually strengthened as the US dollar softened following weaker-than-expected economic reports, such as ADP private employment figures and the ISM Services PMI. Additionally, the Euro’s rebound, aided by easing political turmoil in France, has further pressured the Dollar.
