BANGKOK, Thailand – The Tourism Authority of Thailand launched a photo exhibition and cultural showcase at the event “Nihao! China: China Ice and Snow Tourism Overseas Promotion Season 2025” at the Harbin Ice and snow Festival in China to celebrate the longstanding Thai-Chinese friendship.
At the center of TAT’s presence is the “Thai Charm” photo exhibition, featuring a captivating visual journey through Thailand’s rich culture heritage, unique traditions, and vibrant tourism experiences. The journey is guided by the “5 Must Do in Thailand” concept, including Must Taste, Must Try, Must Buy, Must Seek, and Must See.
Adding to the vibrant festivities, TAT organized live Thai cultural performances that reflected the country’s regional diversity. These included graceful southern Thai dances, lively central Thai festive processions, and northeastern (Isan) performances blending bamboo percussion with umbrella dances. Each performance offered an enchanting glimpse into Thailand’s cultural treasures and traditions.
The Harbin Ice and Snow Festival 2025 began on 5 January 2025 and will continue until early March in Harbin, Heilongjiang, China. The festival features massive ice sculptures, including a highlight from Thailand showcasing the Grand Palace, a remarkable landmark that stands out in this year’s event.
Looking ahead, TAT has planned a grand Chinese New Year celebration in Bangkok’s Chinatown as part of the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025. This celebration aims to strengthen Thailand-China relations and inspire visitors to experience Thailand’s rich culture and travel opportunities. (PRD)
