Hong Kong – The Royal Thai Consulate General in Hong Kong has posted updated information about the recent protests on its Facebook page, advising Thai people visiting the island to consider avoiding travelling to or through likely protest sites as well as allowing extra travel time for all modes of transportation, including travel to the airport, due to widespread road blockages and public transit disruptions.

Hong Kong International Airport has declared special operational circumstances as airline staff staged strikes on Monday, resulting in flight cancellations. Passengers who are scheduled to travel to and from Hong Kong International Airport should verify their flight status with the airline before travelling to the airport.
