
BANGKOK, Thailand – The Ministry of Culture, under Minister Sudawan Wangsuphakijkosol, is leading a delegation of 38 Thai film and television companies to the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART) 2025, taking place from March 17 to 20. The event provides a global platform for Thai filmmakers, producers, and distributors to showcase their work, secure international partnerships, and expand Thailand’s presence in the entertainment industry. The delegation is supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Ministry of Commerce, the Thailand Creative Culture Agency (THACCA), and industry associations.
FILMART 2025 is a key platform for showcasing Thailand’s film, drama, documentary, and animation sectors. As part of the event, the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture is organizing a promotional campaign to introduce Thai content to global buyers and investors. The delegation includes production companies such as GDH 559, Sahamongkol Film International, Kantana Motion Pictures, and True CJ Creations, representing the diversity and strength of Thailand’s audiovisual industry.
As FILMART brings together filmmakers, executives, and investors, Thai companies will engage in business negotiations and networking opportunities. The government views participation in international film markets as a way to strengthen Thailand’s role in global entertainment and attract collaborations with international studios.
