BANGKOK, Thailand – Gold prices in Thailand saw a sharp rise on January 1, 2025, climbing by 250 Baht compared to yesterday’s closing rates. According to the latest update from the Gold Traders Association at 9:02 AM, gold jewelry is now being sold at 43,150 Baht per baht weight.
For gold bars, the buying price is set at 42,550 Baht per baht weight, while the selling price is 42,650 Baht.
Meanwhile, the buying price for gold jewelry stands at 41,780.96 Baht per baht weight, with the selling price reaching 43,150 Baht.
As for the global gold price, or Gold Spot, it is currently trading at $2,624.50 per ounce.
