THAILAND,(NNT) – Bueng Kan Province’s border crossing has been seeing increased activities as Thais and Laotians return to their home countries to celebrate the New Year’s Day.
Travelers mostly of Thai and Lao nationalities have passed through the Bueng Kan customs pier for the 4-day long weekend, some vacationing and some returning to their home countries, bearing gifts and souvenirs.
Meanwhile tourists have traveled to Nong Khai Province’s Sangkhom District where they can catch a scenic glimpse of the Mekong River which divides Thailand and Laos. Visitors can also clearly see Sangthong Subdistrict of Vientiane.
