Thai ‘Lao Krang’ Cultural Center opens in Suphanburi Province

The opening of the Thai ‘Lao Krang’ Cultural Center symbolizes the long friendship and commemorates the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the friendship associations of both countries in the year 2024.

Mr. Kiatikun Chatiprasert, President of the Thai-Lao Association for Friendship welcomed H.E. Mr. Saleumxay Kommasith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR, who presided the opening ceremony of the Thai ‘Lao Krang’ Cultural Center at Wat Phu Namron, Dan Chang District, Suphanburi Province on 25 April 2024.



The religious ceremony was presided over by the Deputy Supreme Patriarch and Vice President of Central Buddhist Fellowship Organization of the Lao PDR. Also present were Governor of Champasak Province, Governor of Vientiane Capital, Ambassador of the Lao PDR to Thailand, President of the Lao-Thai Association for Friendship, Ambassador of Thailand to the Lao PDR, Governor of Suphanburi Province, representatives from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and the Lao PDR, committee members of the friendship associations of both countries, and locals.
