Thai PM to attend funerals of massacre victims in Nong Bualamphu

Anucha said that after the cabinet’s meeting today, Gen Prayut’s delegation would leave for Nong Bualamphu for the royally sponsored funerals of victims of the massacre at a childcare center and its vicinity in this northeastern province last week.

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha and cabinet ministers will be present at royally sponsored cremations of massacre victims in Nong Bualamphu province today.

Government spokesman Anucha Burapachaisri said that after the cabinet’s meeting today, Gen Prayut’s delegation would leave for Nong Bualamphu for the royally sponsored funerals of victims of the massacre at a childcare center and its vicinity in this northeastern province last week.

At 1.30 pm the prime minister’s delegation will leave Wing 2 in Don Muang district of Bangkok aboard an Airbus 320 plane of the air force for a military airport in Udon Thani province.



Gen Prayut will attend the funeral at Wat Rat Samakkhi in Na Klang district of Nong Bua Lam Phu at 4pm.

Deputy Prime Minister and Commerce Minister Jurin Laksanawisit will be at Wat Sri Uthai and Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Minister Supattanapong Punmeechaow will attend the ceremony at Wat Thep Mongkol Pichai. (TNA)
