
SONGKHLA, Thailand – At the Siriraj 60th Anniversary International Conference Center, Prince of Songkla University in Hat Yai, Songkhla, Prime Minister Phatongtarn Shinawatra addressed concerns raised after Cambodian soldiers were seen singing the Cambodian national anthem at the Ta Muen Thom Temple, located near the Thai-Cambodian border in Surin province. The incident had caused unease among Thai citizens.
In a statement following a Cabinet meeting, the Prime Minister assured that there were no problems in the area and confirmed that the issue had been discussed locally without any conflicts. She added that during her upcoming visit to Cambodia, she would raise the matter for further discussion, expressing confidence that the situation could be resolved amicably, urging the public not to worry.
