BANGKOK, July 2 — The Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission of Thailand (NACC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with 40 Thai universities nationwide against corruption.

NACC President Panthep Klanarongran on Wednesday presided over the MoU signing ceremony between NACC and 40 Rajabhat universities to mark the coalition against corruption.

The MoU is designed for both parties to step up their efforts in preventing and stamping out corruption through good coordination and practices among university personnel and students, in accordance with the national strategy which uses education as an anti-corruption mechanism.

Dr Panthep said the NACC will focus on educating and further promoting morality and ethics in Thailand’s educational institutes.
