THAIFEX–ANUGA ASIA 2024 has commenced at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center in Nonthaburi province, launching a five-day event anticipated drawing over 80,000 attendees globally. The premier food and beverage gathering, themed “Beyond Food Experience,” brings together key components of Thailand’s economic and trade sectors, including the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Industry, Thai Chamber of Commerce, and Koelnmesse Germany.



Deputy Government Spokesperson Kenika Aunjit described the event as a vital arena to express Thailand’s commitment to producing and exporting high-quality food that meets international standards while also leveraging the nation’s cultural heritage to bolster the community economy.

Kenika added that the government is now working to establish Thailand as a key player in the global food market, integrating efforts to boost community well-being through the strategic use of cultural soft power. The approach is expected to have widespread effects on enhancing the country’s economic durability and sustainability.




THAIFEX 2024, which concludes on June 1, offers business leaders a platform for direct negotiations, opening its doors to the public on the last day.
