Thailand has introduced a new digital service for the elderly and disabled, accessible through the “Thang Rath” Super App. Overseen by Deputy Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Prime Minister’s Office Minister Puangpet Chunlaiad, the service simplifies checking welfare benefits, demonstrating Thailand’s move towards a fully digital government.

Developed in collaboration with the Digital Government Development Agency (DGA), this initiative highlights the government’s focus on providing accessible, efficient, and secure digital services.

Anutin emphasized the service’s role in enhancing citizens’ quality of life, while Puangpet noted its importance in modernizing public services and making the “Thang Rath” app a comprehensive public service platform.

This development is part of Thailand’s broader commitment to becoming a “Smart Nation,” particularly supporting the elderly and disabled, and marks a major step in improving the accessibility of government services through digital solutions. (NNT)
