Bangkok – Thailand and Myanmar have agreed to strengthen ties between their government public relations agencies, marking 70 years of bilateral ties.
Deputy Director-General of Thailand’s Public Relations Department, Dr Charoon Chaisorn, welcomed a delegation from Myanmar Radio and Television attending the fifth Thai-Myanmar technical committee meeting this week. The meeting, which was organized on the occasion of 70 years of bilateral ties, agreed to expand joint efforts. This includes exchanging radio and television programs, news and telecommunications personnel.
After the meeting, the Myanmar delegation also visited the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand to exchange views on management policies, which will also guide cross-agency cooperation.
