BANGKOK, 10 August 2012 – Thailand Post has come up with a new idea for Thai people to express their wishes to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit on the occasion of Her Majesty’s 80th birthday anniversary.
According to Thailand Post President Anusara Chittmittrapap, in order to make well-wishing activities more convenient and modern on the occasion of HM the Queen’s birthday, Thailand Post is cooperating with Advanced Info Service Company, or AIS, to open up new doors for all Thais to wish HM the Queen a wonderful birthday through text messages. Thailand Post will then collect those wishes and print them onto postcards before presenting them to Her Majesty.
Well-wishers who are AIS customers are encouraged to send in their wishes to 4567890 from now on until 14th August, 2012.
Additionally, those well-wishers may pick up free postcards at all the branches of Thailand Post and write down their wishes to the Queen as well.
