BANGKOK – Thailand Post has introduced a special set of stamps celebrating Children’s Day and the realization of the ASEAN Community, featuring mailboxes from 10 ASEAN countries.
Thailand Post will begin selling the special stamp collection from 9 January 2016, to celebrate Children’s Day and the commencement of the ASEAN Community.
The set of 10 stamps featuring pictures of mailboxes from the 10 ASEAN member countries, along with important national landmarks as backdrops, is expected to raise awareness amongst Thai youth about the ASEAN Community.
This year’s stamp is the fourth Children’s Day set, telling the story of ASEAN countries since 2013. It will be available for sale at post offices, the stamp museum in Bangkok, and on www.postemart.com.
