BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand is gearing up for National Children’s Day 2025, scheduled for Saturday, January 11, with a variety of activities planned by different ministries to promote education, culture, and entertainment across the country. The events aim to provide children with enjoyable experiences while fostering learning and national pride.
The Ministry of Labor will host its activities at the Ministry of Labor Building in Bangkok, starting at 8:00 AM. The program includes youth performances, scholarships for children of outstanding workers, robotics and AI showcases, free dental check-ups, games, and complimentary food for attendees.
The Ministry of Public Health will hold its Children’s Day and Gift Giving for Pediatric Patients event at the Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health. The event features performances by former patients, health exhibitions, and free medical consultations. The ministry will also highlight its Pulmonary Valve Replacement Initiative, a cutting-edge program to reduce risks and recovery times for children with congenital heart disease.
The Ministry of Culture has planned a variety of free events focusing on Thai culture, art, and religion. At Government House, highlights include the “Cultural Virtues Awards 2025” and “Young Smart: Young Goodness 2024” ceremonies, a mobile museum, and screenings of the award-winning animated film “Vargen (Pig) 2022”. Traditional performances, folk games, and etiquette workshops are also part of the lineup.
The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Culture (SPC), will run activities under the theme “Learning with Joy.” These programs include crafting traditional toys, exploring the science of gel candles, and interactive art sessions designed to foster cultural awareness.
Additional activities by various departments will further enhance the celebration, offering a mix of fun and educational experiences.
