Through its Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) plan, the Thai government is propelling industrial growth in the region. The country has also established the Eastern Economic Corridor of Innovation (EECi) zone to promote innovation-driven businesses, with the aim of exporting Thai innovations to the rest of the world.
