The Government Public Relations Department has organized the ‘Thailand Ready APEC Ready’ opening ceremony, presided over by the Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office, Anucha Nakasai, on Wednesday, 14 September at the Conrad Bangkok Hotel.
Minister to Prime Minister’s Office, the chairman of the ceremony, said, Thailand has taken into account the development of environmental management systems under the concept of bio-economy, circular economy, and green economy or BCG as the main idea to drive the issues that will drive APEC this time, as well as presenting the achievements and the important works of the government to show our readiness to host APEC 2022 Thailand, through presentations of activities, performances, videos, and demonstration booths, in line with the main activities from September to November.”
All activities will be held from the present and up to the date of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting on 18-19 November, under the theme “Thailand Ready APEC Ready,” to demonstrate the soft power potential of Thai youth and to make Thai people aware, proud, and ready to host APEC 2022.
