BANGKOK, March 18 (TNA) – Thailand reports 35 new confirmed Covid-19 cases, raising the total cases in the country to 212.
Most of the new cases or 17 cases are linked to cluster infections at the boxing stadium and entertainment venues, said the public health ministry at the daily press briefing on Wednesday.
Twelve cases had close contact with the patients and six persons are new infections.
Among all total cases, 169 persons are being treated in hospital and 42 cases have been fully recovered.
Two critically-ill cases are a Thai national and a foreigner, bringing the number of critically-ill patients to three.
The ministry warns persons who visited Lumpini and Rajadamnern boxing stadiums and entertainment venues from March 6-10 to themselves for symptoms of COVID-19 for 14 days. (TNA)
