Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha expressed his gratitude for Britain’s donation of about 415,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses for accelerated inoculations in Thailand.

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha expressed his gratitude for Britain’s donation of about 415,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses for accelerated inoculations in Thailand.

Government spokesman Anucha Burapachaisri said Gen Prayut who was also the defense minister extended his gratitude towards the British government for donating 415,040 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine early next month.



The donation would support the Thai government’s efforts to control COVID-19 and ensure public safety and economic recovery as soon as possible, Mr Anucha said.

Meanwhile, the Swiss government donated 100 ventilators, over 1 million rapid antigen test kits and other medical supplies. The donations weighing altogether 26 tons worth 9 million Swiss francs arrived at Suvarnabhumi airport this morning. (TNA)
