The ‘World Athletics Global Running Conference 2022’ will take place from 30 November to 3 December 2022 at Siam Paragon Shopping Center in Bangkok. The participants include more than 400 organizers of the world’s most important running events, such as the Tokyo Marathon, London Marathon, Boston Marathon, Berlin Marathon, Chicago Marathon, and New York Marathon. The event will be held in parallel with the “Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok 2022,” which is expected to attract over 25,000 athletes worldwide.
In addition, Thailand will become the host country of the first-ever “World Mountain and Trail Running Championships 2021” (WMTRC 2021) on 3-6 November 2022 in Chiang Mai.
Thanks to modern infrastructure, Thai hospitality, natural beauty, and diverse cuisine and cultures, this demonstrates Thailand’s capacity to deliver international major sports events. (PRD)
