Thailand welcomes home five released nationals from Israel

A joyful reunion at Suvarnabhumi Airport as five Thai nationals safely return home from Israel, welcomed by government officials and their families.

BANGKOK, Thailand – H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, along with H.E. Mr. Russ Jalichandra, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyut, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labour, welcomed the five recently released Thai nationals upon their arrival to Thailand from Israel at the Suvarnabhumi Airport.

The Foreign Minister was pleased that all five Thai nationals had safely returned to their homeland and warmly reunited with their families amid a joyful moment. He also emphasized the Thai government’s unwavering efforts to ensure the success of the mission today. The Minister also thanked Israel, friendly countries, Chief of Defence Forces’ team, the Ministry of Labour, and all relevant Thai agencies for their vital roles in securing the release of the Thai nationals.



He also reiterated the government’s commitment to working continuously towards the release of one remaining Thai hostage and bringing the remains of the two Thai nationals back to Thailand. He also reaffirmed that all government agencies are determined to assist all Thais who are working abroad. (MFA)
