BANGKOK, 2 July 2015 –The Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences is ready to play host to a major academic conference related to clinical trials. The seminar is to take place in the middle of July.
Dr. Nares Damrongchai, the CEO of the Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS), said that the Science Ministry will be joining members of Thailand Towards Excellence in Clinical Trials (ThaiTECT) to host the 15th ThaiTECT Annual Meeting this year, on July 16 and 17.
The event, which will take place at the Hilton Sukhumvit Hotel in Bangkok, is on the theme “From Discovery to the Early Phase of Clinical Trials”.
Dr. Nares said that the upcoming conference hopes to introduce new information related to pre-clinical and clinical research which is significant for further development of new medicines.
At the conference, representatives from several related private and state agencies will be in attendance – making the event Thailand’s most extensive network of organizations involved in the development and the production of medicines and vaccines, he added.
