HANOI – Last night (Nov 16), people across the globe marveled at the beauty of the Supermoon, the final occurrence of this astronomical event for 2024.

In Hanoi, Vietnam, crowds gathered to admire the bright, oversized moon gracing the night sky. Many noted how the Supermoon added a special charm to the city, its radiance outshining even the streetlights.

In Karachi, Pakistan, locals captured the moment on their phones, taking photos and videos to preserve the rare beauty of the glowing moon.

Over in Cairo, Egypt, the Supermoon illuminated iconic landmarks like the Great Pyramids of Giza and historic temples, creating a breathtaking backdrop that is unrivaled worldwide.

Meanwhile, in Caracas, Venezuela, the moon shone brightly over the city’s twinkling skyline, delighting residents of all ages who stepped out to enjoy the celestial spectacle.

This Supermoon, called the “Beaver Moon”, is named for the time of year when beavers build their dams. Appearing 7% larger than usual, it occurs when the moon reaches its closest point to Earth. Those who missed this event will have to wait until next November for another chance to witness this enchanting sight. (TNA)
