His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua and Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana have graciously bestowed high-flow oxygen concentrators on hospitals in Nonthaburi province. The machines are used to treat COVID-19 patients with respiratory issues.
Due to the COVID-19 resurgence resulting in a large number of patients in Thailand, Their Majesties the King and Queen have devoted their personal funds to the acquisition of high-flow oxygen concentrators that will assist in treatment at various hospitals. The machines will mitigate the shortage of medical equipment and enhance efficiency in the treatment of COVID-19 patients.
At Nonthaburi City Hall in Muang Nonthaburi district on Monday (May 24), a ceremony was held to present 13 royally-bestowed high-flow oxygen concentrators on hospitals under the supervision of the Nonthaburi Provincial Public Health Office. They were received by Governor of Nonthaburi, Sujin Chaichumsak, together with civil servants and public health officials.
The Nonthaburi Provincial Public Health Office oversees 18 hospitals and one field hospital caring for COVID-19 patients. The hospitals now require many high-flow oxygen concentrators, as more patients are experiencing respiratory complications. Their Majesties’ royal kindness is greatly benefitting the health facilities, while increasing the survival rate of COVID-19 patients.
His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua and Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana have graciously gifted food to construction workers affected by the COVID-19 outbreak in Bang Kho Laem and Bang Phlat districts, Bangkok.
Their Majesties the King and Queen are concerned about people who have been affected by the COVID-19 situation. On Monday (May 24), Their Majesties assigned officials to present 300 boxes of food, drinking water and alcohol gel to Director of Bang Kho Laem District, Witoon Apisitpuvakul. The royally-bestowed items were distributed to people working at two construction sites in the district. They have been placed in quarantine due to the COVID-19 situation. The workers expressed their deepest gratitude for the royal kindness.
At the Rama VIII Park in Bang Phlat district, Their Majesties the King and Queen directed officials to present 125 boxes of food, including egg and pork stew and stir-fried chicken and crispy fingerroot, to Director of Bang Phlat District, Panchaphat Lakdee. The royally-bestowed food boxes were given to quarantined people at construction sites in the district, to ease their troubles. The people of Bang Phlat expressed their deepest gratitude for the royal kindness. (NNT)
