BANGKOK, 13 December 2013 100 representatives from all segments in Thai society will be invited to attend the government’s planned reform forum this Sunday at the Queen Sikirit National Convention Centre.
Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office Thongthong Chandrangsu who has been assigned to oversee the forum said that a roadmap to steer the country out of the crisis needs to be mapped out ahead of the general election on February 2.
The brainstorming session will see civil servants, press members, university rectors as well as representatives from the anti-government movement and pro-government networks discuss solutions to the ongoing political conflicts.
Three representatives from the People’s Democratic Reform Committee are slated to partake in the reform forum. The forum will be televised live on Channel 11. Members of the public are urged to voice their thoughts and concerns via a text messaging service at 422-1559.
