SA KAEW, 13 March 2013 Police in Sa Kaew and Customs officials in the province have arrested vendors from 15 shops in Rong Kluea market for selling counterfeit products.
Around 200 officials were involved in the raid at Rong Kluea market, known as a destination for buying counterfeit garments and apparels.
752 counterfeit items were seized from the 15 shops, among them brand-name bags, eyewear, and shoes. Officials then searched 4 of the warehouses at the market and seized numerous counterfeited shoes, jeans, and bags. 5,000 items were seized from the warehouses. The seized lot is valued at 5 million baht.
15 Cambodian vendors were arrested and taken to Rong Kluea police station in the province for case proceedings.
