Three more human trafficking suspects arrested

SONGKHLA, 1 July 2015 – Three suspects believed to be related to Rohingya trafficking have been arrested today, while investigators will track down other suspects who have been issued arrest warrants.

Rohingya human trafficking investigators have arrested three suspects who are believed to be involved with human trafficking networks in Songkhla Province today.

The suspects were informed of their allegations before they were investigated at the Hat Yai Police Station. All suspects denied all charges.

Nine other suspects who were arrested yesterday have been transferred into detention at the Na Thawee Provincial Court without bail, pushing the total number arrests on this case up to 68 persons, out of the total 119 individuals who have been issued arrest warrants.
