The first round of the ‘To Be Number One’ teen dancercise Thailand championship 2011 event was staged on January 16 at the Central Festival Pattaya Beach.
The competition was divided into three levels with 26 teams in total taking part: 6 teams in the junior division aged between 6-9 years old, 11 teams in pre-teenage aged category between 10-13 years old, and 9 teams in teenage level aged between 14-24 years old.
Each team has to consist of at least 12 people but cannot exceed 20.
The kids get to do a lot of exercise in the championship and the teams that get through the first round can go onto win trophies of HRH Princess Ubolratana and even the ultimate cash prizes worth over 1 million baht.
