CHIANG MAI, Thailand – We urge all travelers in and around Chiang Mai to exercise caution due to increased flooding in the region. While the Chiang Mai International Airport remains open, train services to and from the city are currently suspended. Please consider alternate travel arrangements.

Further south, areas along rivers are also at risk due to rising water levels and ongoing rain. Stay alert to local news and updates from officials for any evacuation notices or additional road closures.

For your safety, keep emergency numbers handy and follow instructions from local authorities. We recommend that tourists:

  1. Avoid traveling through flood-prone areas.
  2. Stay informed with real-time updates from reliable sources.
  3. Contact your embassy or consulate for assistance if needed.

Your safety is our priority. Stay safe and informed.  (TAT)
