PHUKET, Thailand – A tourist shuttle bus fell off a curve and plunged 15 meters into a gorge in Patong, Phuket, leaving 9 people injured, February 1.
The incident occurred near a hotel in Patong, where the bus carrying tourists lost control and veered off the road, falling into a deep gorge. Rescue teams, along with a mobile medical unit, promptly arrived at the scene to assist the victims, who were trapped inside the vehicle. They were later transferred to Patong Hospital.
Preliminary reports indicate that no fatalities have been recorded, with 9 people injured, including 5 men and 4 women. Among the injured, 4 were Chinese tourists.
