BANGKOK, 25 June 2015 – The Meteorological Department has indicated that the Northeast of Thailand will continue to experience precipitation due to the tropical storm Kujira. Kujira has weakened to a depression in the upper part of Vietnam, around 100 kilometers away from Hanoi.
It now has a speed of 10 kilometers per hour. Meteorologists said the tropical storm will continue to bring rain to the Northeast of Thailand. Those planning to visit Vietnam should consult weather reports before traveling. Fishermen have been warned against strong gale winds in the Andaman Sea and the upper part of the Gulf of Thailand.
Meteorologists caution fishing vessels that choose to disembark. Small fishing boats should remain ashore until June 27.
