Loei – Tropical storms have struck several villages in the northeastern province of Loei.
The storms on Friday brought torrential rain and hail to 24 villages in five townships. More than 100 houses were damaged. Security officers, administrative officials and civil defense volunteers joined forces Saturday to help repair storm-hit houses.
Governor of Loei province, Chaiwat Chuenkosum and his officials visited affected communities to give moral support and construction supplies to the villagers. Officials and volunteers are involved in the home repairs.
No one was killed or injured during the storms.
