BANGKOK, 13 Jan 2015 – Deputy Education Minister General Surachet Chaiyawong has expressed his hope that the campaign in sending tutors to give additional lessons to southern students will give them equal footing to their urban counterparts in taking entrance examination.
The campaign, which kicked off recently, gives tuition to grade 12 students in schools located in areas under the supervision of the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Centre and the Region 4 Internal Security Operations Command. It also provides tuition through VIDEO Teleconferencing to students in region.
These students are mostly living in Yala, Pattani, Narathiwat and 5 districts of Songkhla Province which are Na Thawee, Sadao, Chana, Thepa and Sabayoi
