BANGKOK, Nov 21 —  Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha said a Deputy Minister for Finance and a Deputy Minister for Agriculture and Cooperatives, were appointed to help working and to ease the workload at the two ministries.

Gen Prayut is scheduled to accompany new Deputy Finance Minister Wisut Srisuphan and Deputy Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Amnuay Patise to take their oaths of allegiance before His Majesty the King at Siriraj Hospital at 5pm today.

The two ministers will start working after the ceremony.

Reiterating that there is no conflict in his administration, formed in early September, Gen Prayut said that considerable progress has been made by his government, especially in solving the national economic problem although the government has been attacked by many people as they are still dissatisfied with the outlook of the general economy.

Gen Prayut said his government is prepared to listen to opinions from every sector, especially on malpractice and that he would punish those involved in corruption.

He said ministers of the two ministries would delegate work to the new deputy ministers “systematically” and that he would not interfere in their operations.

Asked whether he has any plan to form a political party, Gen Prayut said, “I’m not a politician.”

Gen Prayut said he has no time to think of anything else except to solve problems facing the country now.
