PATHUMTHANI, 14 August 2014 — Rescue workers yesterday pulled our seven more bodies from the concrete rubble of the condominium which collapsed in the province of Pathumthani.
So far, ten people have reportedly died in the collapse of the condominium under construction in Prathumthani. According to authorities, more bodies might be found under piles of rubble of the six-storey U place Condominium project that collapsed two days ago.
The area was declared an emergency disaster zone. Police are looking for engineers and contractors in order to probe into the cause of the collapse. More than 80 percent of rubble have been cleared out and the search for more bodies is expected to be completed today, said the deputy director-general of the Disaster Prevention and Relief Department.
