BANGKOK, 5 May 2015 -A walking rally was held earlier today to celebrated the 69th anniversary of His Majesty the King’s accession to the throne.
Defense Minister and Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan presided over the opening ceremony of the walking rally at Rajpruek Club.
People from all walks of life and government officials participated in the 5 kilometer walk. The first 5 individuals who crossed the finish line have received a commemorative trophy from the club. The event celebrated the anniversary of His Majesty’s accession to the throne 69 years ago.
