Watcharaphol Public Park’s Dog Park available this October

BANGKOK, 1 September 2014 – Bangkok is ready to make available a ‘Dog Park’ within the Watcharaphol Public Park under the expressway intersection, Bangkhen District this October.

The Vice Governor of Bangkok said after a meeting of the Bangkok Board today that progress in the construction of the Dog Park in Bangkok is on track and it expects to open the service in October this year. It will include exercise spaces for dogs, jogging lanes, a veterinary screening building, and a car park.

The park is available for dogs aged over 3 months with vaccine guarantees and a park permission card. The owners can apply for a permission card at specified places.

Meanwhile the dog parks in Bangkhae District, and Bang Khun Tien District are in the process of review of the construction specifications and are expected to start construction in April 2015, while the dog park in Suanluang RAMA IX of Prawet District is in a state of relocation due to coordination obstacles.
