A woman has shared her unusual experience of being denied entry to South Korea on September 3 due to her inability to answer specific questions about her hotel, sparking widespread discussion online.

In a Facebook post shared in the group “Traveling to Korea by Yourself,” the woman revealed that she was asked by immigration officials about the number of trees at her hotel and the color of her room. Unable to provide satisfactory answers, she was sent back, along with more than ten others.

She recounted, “I hadn’t been to Korea for 5-6 years and was planning to visit friends. Yesterday, we were held up by immigration. I was able to answer all questions except for those about the number of trees at the hotel and the color of the room. I couldn’t answer and was sent back, being told that my responses were unclear. It really depends on luck.”

The post quickly garnered attention from netizens, who reacted with a range of comments. Some suggested asking the airport how many bathrooms it has, while others expressed frustration about traveling to a country that they feel disrespects Thai citizens. Some humorously commented about the number of trees, suggesting responses like “two trees, one small and one large.”
