The wealthy owner of an Indian tour roped off part of a Koh Larn beach and invited more than 100 people to a lavish birthday party for his wife.
Rajan Bakshi, 58, pulled out all the stops for the June 23 affair on Sawaeng Beach. He reportedly spent more than 150,000 baht on the 33rd birthday bash for wife Nitikorn.

Reporters and tour guides were among those on the guest list and Bakshi chartered a boat to ferry guests to the island and rented hotel rooms for them to stay overnight.
Bakshi said the party was not only to honor his wife, but launch his new tour company.
