Launched by Minor Hotels in 2011, Avani Hotels & Resorts is an upscale, contemporary brand appealing to millennial minded travelers who appreciate quality and value.

Minor Hotels’ ties to the Pattaya property go back as far as 1978. Originally a Royal Garden Resort brand, this was the group’s very first hotel purchase.

Set within the lush gardens is a 650 square meter outdoor adult and children’s swimming pool with a hydrotherapy Jacuzzi plunge pool.

Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels said, “Over US$ 5 million has been invested in refurbishing the resort, including guest rooms, meeting rooms, the Elephant Bar and Garden Cafe Restaurant, plus the resort has introduced Pantry At Avani, an inviting zone where guests are able to eat, grab a quick bite or stock up their mini bars.”

Avani Sea View and Avani Garden View Rooms have been redesigned to offer an improved use of space and a host of modern comforts. All of the resort’s 298 guest rooms and suites have balconies or terraces and are set amidst 14 acres of verdant gardens overlooking Pattaya Beach.

Five restaurant and bar venues feature a variety of international and local Thai cuisine, including the newly refurbished Garden Cafe Restaurant’s varied buffet that offers international fare and classic Thai dishes, and the Sala Rim Nam, the resort’s open-air Thai restaurant, which is encircled by lotus ponds and tropical flora.

The resort focuses on healthy lifestyle choices offering a swimming pool with jacuzzi, an extensive health club, two floodlit tennis courts and the tranquil Avani Spa.

The resort’s 2,000 square meter Fitness Club, with facilities comprising an aerobic studio, a full range of cardiovascular equipment, strength machines, free weights and two floodlit tennis courts, allow guests to keep up their fitness routines whilst on holiday or business. Daily exercise classes include Yoga, Pilates and Muay Thai boxing.

Located in the center of Pattaya and overlooking the beach, the property is only minutes away from the city’s hotspots and shopping areas and is connected to Royal Garden Plaza. This entertainment mall brings retail stores and family attractions and experiences together under one roof. The selection of restaurants includes world-renowned Benihana, where guests can enjoy ‘eatertainment’ around Teppanyaki style dining.

Mall family entertainment comes in the form of Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum of oddball finds, Ripley’s Haunted Adventure, Ripley’s 4D Moving Theatre and Ripley’s Infinity Maze. Plus, Louis Tussaud’s Wax Museum. And there’s more.

Only 90 minutes by car from Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Pattaya is the closest major beach destination to Thailand’s capital. This vibrant coastal city is a must visit destination in Thailand as there is something for everyone.

Avani Pattaya is now the fourth Avani property in Thailand, following Avani Riverside Bangkok and Avani Khon Kaen which were both added to the brand earlier this year and Avani Atrium Bangkok which joined the portfolio in 2014.
