AVANI Pattaya invited some of Pattaya’s wine buffs for a Wine Tasting Evening: Saturday 12 May 2018.
Five wines were experienced with three French and two New Zealand, plus another NZ sparkling Sauvignon Blanc as the reception wine.
MC for the event was Khun Teera Weerawan, the National Sales Manager for Bangkok Beer and Beverage (BB&B), one of the sponsors for the evening.
The Avani Pattaya provided a wonderful selection of finger food including a live cooking station making a rather special macaroni.
French or New Zealand? Old World or New World? The vote was split as everyone found a wine to their satisfaction. For me, it was the Selini Estates, Cellar selection Pinot Gris 2016 from Hawkes Bay NZ.
BB&B are to be congratulated on presenting five very pleasant wines, and Avani Pattaya for an enjoyable evening which went through without a hitch.
