The Royal Cliff Hotels Group is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Mr. Douglas Glen as the new General Manager of the Group. Mr. Glen takes the head position of this legendary property comprising 1,020 rooms and suites and Pattaya’s largest convention center with immediate effect. He brings with him an extensive experience in the hospitality industry coupled with his incredible passion for looking after guests.



A graduate in Hotel Management from the Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland, he is a seasoned international hotelier who has also received an Honorary Degree in Hospitality Management from the Glion Hotel School in Switzerland. His passion for the industry has resulted in an impressive career spanning the UK, Singapore, and Thailand, where he held senior management positions at The London Hilton on Park Lane, The Landmark London & Bangkok as well as Carlton City Hotel in Singapore.


Known for his dedication, outstanding record, dynamic team-oriented approach, and passion for success, he spends his free time enjoying different hobbies such as watching football, exploring restaurants and coffee shops, going for long walks as well as swimming, and playing golf.

Mr. Glen is motivated to add his invaluable experience and insights to the company’s advancement and success as he takes on his new role as the General Manager of the Royal Cliff Hotels Group. With over 37 years of experience in the industry, he brings a team-focused and results-driven leadership style to the legendary property.
