Dusit Thani College, the leading centre of hospitality learning in Thailand established by Dusit International, marks another milestone with the launch of its newest campus, in one of Asia’s most well-known travel destinations – Pattaya, Thailand.
Dusit Thani College Pattaya City will open its doors to the public in June 2011.
“We are excited to announce the opening of Dusit Thani College Pattaya City, as one of the newest milestones for Dusit Education since we established Dusit Thani College in 1993. Dusit has always placed strong emphasis in the field of education and recognized the need for specialized hospitality training in Thailand. We believe that Dusit Thani College Pattaya City will help to create more opportunities for the younger generation who have the passion and desire to enter the industry with professional skills,” said Chanin Donavanik, Chief Executive Officer of Dusit International.

Dusit Thani College Pattaya City, conveniently located on Sukhumvit Highway near “Mini-Siam”, Pattaya’s themed attraction, will initially offer three popular degree programmes which are Bachelor of Business Administration in Hotel and Resort Management, Bachelor of Business Administration in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management, and Bachelor of Business Administration in MICE and Events Management. The programs are designed and to provide graduates with the highest technical skill and competency for the hospitality industry.
In addition, Dusit Thani College Pattaya City will offer various short programs and specialized training courses for executives and personnel who are already in the industry and general public who are interested in learning more about hotel and tourism to improve their skills and career advancement.
Dusit Thani College Pattaya City will introduce more degree programs in the subsequent years when the facilities of the Pattaya Campus are fully expanded.
“Dusit Thani College Pattaya City is an extension of the high quality education of Dusit Thani College in Bangkok. This new campus will feature the complementary combination of excellent curriculum, outstanding facilities, proficient faculties, and effective student activities. We target to register 200 new students for the first academic year starting this coming June,” said Veera Pardpattanapanich, Rector of Dusit Thani College.
“The campus consists of three classroom buildings, comprising of lecture classrooms, demonstration kitchen, practical kitchen, bakery, bartending room, practical restaurant, student canteen, library, and language laboratory. Indeed, all area will be fully equipped with highest standard equipment and appliances. As Dusit International’s affiliate, our outstanding curriculum is designed to meet the industry’s need. In addition to studying both theoretical and practical courses on campus, each student will be required to complete extensive supervised field training or internship at business venue relating to student’s major to gain real working experience,” confirmed Mrs. Pardpattanapanich.
