The package includes a free return trip with Kan Air, with the privilege of spending an entire day at the Cartoon Network Amazone, a room for two, and two nights at the Centara Grand Maris Resort Jomtien for only 5,990 baht per person.

Sompong said that the brainchild of the promotion was developed between Kan Airways and the Cartoon Network Amazone to promote tourism with a package that nobody could resist.

It is also a great idea to connect North Thailand to the Easter Seaboard, giving the privilege for customers to experience a world-class water park as well as stay in one of the coziest resorts in Jomtien.

Suladda said TAT is pushing forward more family holiday packages during 2017. Now that U-Tapao-Rayong-Pattaya Airport is becoming a major attraction for tourists who prefer to come to Pattaya, Rayong or the surrounding areas, the North and Eastern Seaboard are now officially connected.

Northern provinces such as Chiang Mai also are very attractive places for tourists to visit yearly, according to the TAT database. It has a lot to offer, from zoos, culture, products, all the way to beautiful temples, scenery and forestry attractions.

Accommodations in Chiang Mai include more than 80,000 rooms with a huge potential to grow even more. U-Tapao is also under development for the AEC and more airlines are forming alliances to connect to it as well.

Currently, Kan Airways has eight routes in Chiang Mai Airport, including Pai, Mae Hong Son, Nan, Ubon Ratchathani, Koen Kaen, Phitsanulok, Hua Hin and Pattaya.

There are several different aircraft, including the Cessna Grand Caravans with 12 seats, and the ATR with 66 seats. Chiang Mai-U-Tapao flights are available on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Flight K88527 leaves Chiang Mai at 5 p.m. and arrives at U-Tapao at 7 p.m. Return flights from U-Tapao are at 7:30 p.m. and arrive at 9:30 p.m.
