Petchaburi invites all to visits its 17th seafood festival at Cha-am Beach

PETCHABURI, 14 September 2015- The 17th seafood festival has kicked off in Cha-Am beach, Phetchaburi province. The event will conclude on September 19th.

Cha-Am municipality, the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the private sector have joined hands organizing the event, aiming at stimulating local tourism. The event is being held at the Cha-Am beach in Cha-Am district of Phetchaburi.

Visitors, particularly seafood lovers, will be treated to fresh shellfish such as live lobsters, crabs and other delicacies at the festival. In addition, they will be entertained by live musical bands, which attract throngs of locals as well as visitors.

Moreover, the event also features bird watching services at the nearby Khao Nang Phanthurat Forest Park. Bird lovers will be accompanied by experts, who will explain to them them what they need to know about birds. Visitors will also be able to go cuttlefish fishing after dark, as a late night activity.
