Public Transportation availability guidelines at Suvarnabhumi Airport during political protest

BANGKOK 13 January 2014  Suvarnabhumi Airport has announced Availability of Public Transportation at Suvarnabhumi Airport Guidelines during the political protest. 

The ongoing political protest in many areas and the planned closure of many roads in Bangkok may affect your planned route or mode of transportation, Suvarnabhumi Airport would like to advise passengers to avoid the areas nearby the protests. The available modes of public transportation at Suvarnabhumi Airport are as follows:

1. Public Taxi Service is available curbside at Entrances 4 and 7, 1st floor of the Passenger Terminal. For further information, please contact tel: 0 2132 9199.

2. Airport Limousine Service is available at Airport Limousine Counters in the Baggage Claim Area and Arrival Hall, 2nd floor of the Passenger Terminal. For further information, please contact tel: 0 2134 2323 to 5.

3. Airport Rail Link Service is available on B1 floor of the Passenger Terminal. For further information, please call 1690.

4. BMTA (Public) Van Service is available at Suvarnabhumi Airport’s Public Transportation Center. Whereby, passengers can take a Shuttle Bus from the Passenger Terminal; at Entrances 3 and 7 on the 1st floor, Entrance 5 on the 2nd floor and Entrance 5 on the 4th floor. There are 8 routes available: Minburi, Bangkapi, Victory Monument, Paknam, On-Nut, Lumlukka, Don Mueang and Rangsit. The service is from 05:00 – 22:00. 5. Shuttle Bus Service between Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang International airports is available at no charge at Entrance 3 (Curbside), 2nd floor of Passenger Terminal. The service is from 05:00 – 24:00. For further information, please contact tel: 08 4718 8800 and 08 9895 6445.

6. (Special) Airport Shuttle Bus Service is available from Entrance 3, 1st floor of the Passenger Terminal to Ladkrabang Railway Station and BTS SkyTrain On-Nut Station, starting from the 10th January 2014 (until further notice) and the service hours are from 06:00 – 24:00.

7. Long-Term Parking area (Zones B, C, D, E and F) available as a public car park, with shuttle bus service to the Passenger Terminal Building (1st floor) for those wishing to travel in and out of Bangkok via Airport Rail Link or take the (Special) Airport Shuttle Bus Service to Ladkrabang Railway Station and BTS SkyTrain On-Nut Station. This service is available free of charge, starting from the 10th January 2014 (until further notice).

Furthermore, passengers can contact Suvarnabhumi Airport’s 24-hours service counters available throughout the Passenger Terminal:

Airport Information Counters are available throughout the Passenger Terminal, or call Contact Center 1722. • Airport Operation Center (AOPC) is situated behind check-in counters Row R, Departure Hall, 4th floor of the Passenger Terminal. Passenger Assistance Center (PAC) consisting of airport personnel and representatives from agencies, such as, the Association of Thai Travel Agent (ATTA), Thai Hotels Association, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), etc. is situated between Entrances 7 and 8, Arrival Hall, 2nd floor of the Passenger Terminal.
