BANGKOK, 24 May 2012 – The Thai Fruit Festival 2012 is now underway at JJ Mall to offer Thai fruit to consumers straight from the farms.
All types of high quality fruit, both fresh and processed, from farms in the East, North, and three southernmost provinces are on offer. The Cooperative Promotion Department and JJ Mall, the organizers of the event, hope that the festival will help farmers release their produce, which is abundant during this period.
Litchi, mangosteen, rambutan, longon, zalacca, and durian from the northern and eastern regions are on sale at low prices. Rare fruit, fruit that grow in cold weather, and organic vegetables are also on sale.
The Festival is held at JJ Mall, in Chatuchak, Bangkok from May 24-27.
